We do not ask for financial details like bank account number, credit/debit card number and do not save it online or offline. However, at the time of service plan purchase, customers are redirected to secured bank payment gateway page where they need to enter the credit/debit card number, expiration number along with billing information, but we never ask for any security number e.g. CVV number printed on the back side for security reasons. Also, we collect information related to computers, peripherals, operating system and application software installed as we are dealing with IT consulting.
How we collect data?
We collect the data when customer calls us and share the details at the time of computer registration and service plan purchase. Also, customer can fill the online form in our website and contact us for any support. The details are saved in our secured web server online and also in our CRM server offline. When customer goes through a payment process after opting for a service plan, the details are captured by our secured (SSL) payment gateway which is highly secured and managed by our bank. Our website has got SSL certification for added security. So, all the details captured are highly secured and prohibited from unauthorized success.
Why we collect data?
We collect personal data in order to maintain our official records in our CRM server and to find relevant information related to customer’s services plans, validity, type of plan, case history regarding support and services availed from us.
Sharing of data:
We never share customer information in any form with any third-party vendor or service provider for advertisement, marketing and promotion of their products. If we share any data then it will be an authorized service partner who works for us and give support to our customers and same will be shared with the customer in advance.
Security and Storage of Data:
We have a secured (SSL) web server, bank payment gateway and CRM server to keep all the details of customer securely and only authorized high level management team has got the access to it and that is only for analysis and reporting purpose. Hence, our front line technicians, customer service representatives, back-office employees do not have access to any confidential data and are restricted from unauthorized access to customer information.
Usage Details, IP Addresses and Cookies:
We do not save or install any cookie file on customer computer or nothing gets downloaded automatically in the background when someone visits our website. We tracked the IP address of the computer to analyse the activity of the visitor on our website and also to track the IP address of the computer from which customer has made online payment to purchase any service plan.
Children under the Age of 13:
We do not deal with children or no part of our website is designed to attract anyone under the age of 13 for any data collection. We are consistent with the Children’s online privacy Protection Act and do not collect or maintain information at our website from or sell products to those we actually know are under the age of 13. Please ask your parent or guardian to assist you in using our services if you are under the age of 13.
We do not have any control if any third-party advertiser tracks your activity by any tracking software when you are online or whenever you visit our website. However, we always monitor our website and our server for any suspicious activities and prevent them accordingly to keep you and ourselves safe and secured.
Use of Your Personal Information Following Termination:
We save your personal information whether it is active, suspended, expired or cancelled, but we can pull out the records which are not older than 2 years from current date. The records that are older than 2 years are archived and remains in archived database. We will not use this archived personal information except to the extent we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or if required by law. In addition to the above, we will maintain information about our customers who have been suspended for violating any of our agreements.
We do not engage customer to fill any feedback form, use their information for marketing purpose, promotional activities, encourage customer to participate in online surveys or share any data in any form with any third party vendors for marketing and promotions. However, only when there is critical update or there is an occasion product and service promotions, we intimate our customer by sending emails.
